Week Twelve Guide

Every week you will find a guide that will assist you in completing your coursework. You are not required to follow this guide, but you may find it helpful to print as a tool for scheduling your time. Each day’s worth of material should take about one hour to complete. This week, you will complete your analysis of A Christmas Carol, by Charles Dickens.

Monday:

• Complete Thesis Statement & Outline for Essay.
• You will need to print the Thesis Statement/Outline PDF.
• Complete and submit your outline.

Tuesday:

• Complete Module 3 Vocabulary Review.
• After you have done the review, take Quiz: Module 3 Vocabulary.
• You will also want to begin to review for the Test: Christmas Carol on Thursday.

Wednesday:

• Complete Tips for Writing the Comparison/Contrast Essay.
• Work on your essay, which you will submit on Friday.

Thursday:

• Review all literary themes and chapter notes from A Christmas Carol.
• Take Test: A Christmas Carol.
• You will need to close all tabs and not use any notes.

Friday:

• Submit Compare/Contrast Essay.
• Be sure to check the rubric before handing in your essay; it provides an excellent guideline.
