Vocabulary
As you may have noticed, the topic for Module 1 is MI VIAJE (My Trip). The assignments and vocabulary presented in this Module will revolve around this topic. Each time you are presented with a new vocabulary section, we encourage you to memorize the vocabulary words, their definitions, and how each word can be used in a sentence. If you want to go the extra mile, feel free to make flashcards with each vocabulary word and its definition, these will serve as excellent study resources.
There will be a brief vocabulary quiz at the end of this lesson. The vocabulary covered in this lesson will be used throughout Module 1 as well as in future Modules in this course.

Cabaña - Cabin
Hotel - Hotel
Habitación - Bedroom
Cuarto - Room (Can also mean "Bedroom" depending on the context)
Piso - Floor
Maletas OR Equipaje - Luggage
Vuelo - Flight
Llegada - Arrival
Salida - Departure (It also means "Exit")
Avión - Airplane
Tren - Train
Bus (Some countries also use "autobús") - Bus
Taxi - Taxi
Auto (Also called "automóvil" and "coche") - Car
Viaje - Trip (Can also mean "Journey")
Verbs
(All verbs are in the Infinitive form, Ex. "To Play" instead of "Play")
Acampar - To camp
Viajar - To travel
Volar - To fly
Empacar - To pack
Desempacar - To unpack
Caminar - To walk
Visitar - To visit

At this time, you are not required to know how to use these words in a complete sentence or how to conjugate the verbs since we have not yet covered those topics. Eventually, you will be able to use these words in complete sentences and conjugate the verbs, but for now we ask that you memorize these vocabulary words, including their spelling and translations, so that you can correctly use them in the future.
