Late Nite Labs Instructions

Please follow the instructions below to complete and submit your assignment in Late Nite Labs. These instructions will be the same for every lab.

  1. Click on the link at the bottom of this page that says “Enter Late Nite Labs” and then click on the button that says “Load Late Nite Labs in a New Window” to go to Late Nite Labs’ website.
  2. Click on the appropriate course and select the appropriate lab from the list. The title of the lab should match the title of this lesson.
  3. The virtual lab will open in a new window. Click on the Lab Manual to the right, and read the Background information that is there.
  4. When you have finished reading the Background information, click on the Procedures tab and follow the instructions there to perform the experiment. Be sure to take Notes and to save any images you capture to your Portfolio.
  5. When you have completed the experiment, click Exit at the bottom of the screen to return to the lab listing.
  6. Now click the words, Short Answer, under the lab you just completed. (You cannot click on this until you have completed the experiment.) Using your Notes and Portfolio, fill out the Short Answer assignment until completion. Be sure to save your work as you go.
  7. Once you have completed the Short Answer assignment, press Submit for Grading at the bottom of the page. Your Short Answer assignment will become temporarily unavailable until the teacher has finished grading it. Once a grade has been posted, it will again become available to you for your review.
  8. Finally, return to this page in Canvas and type your name in the box below to signify that you have completed and submitted the Short Answer in Late Nite Labs. This will prompt your teacher to grade your assignment. Do not type your name in the box on this page until after you have completed and submitted both the experiment and the Short Answer assignment in Late Nite Labs.
  9. If you have any questions, please message your teacher.
